About us

Auction buyers at Toyosu, exporting to the world.

One Ocean Japan buys at Toyosu Market in Tokyo, the largest seafood market in Japan. Every market morning our buyers are on the auction floor before the bell, inspecting tuna, uni and fish landed from every coast of the country and bidding lot by lot.

We buy at the auction and from Toyosu's intermediate wholesalers, grade every lot by hand, and pack and clear export in Tokyo the same day. Our partners get the best of Japan's catch, from Hokkaido uni to Nagasaki bluefin, in one shipment.
